Jonathan is the libero – which means you get an odd colored shirt to wear for the day. In reality, we are all glad that he plays this critical position. He came in this year as a freshman and it’s remarkable how the players and the coaches encouraged his every move to play that position. He enjoys playing that position and it makes him work harder at his game. The responsibilities of a first touch or a second touch are more laborious than that third touch. It’s knowledge of your teammates’ abilities and the direction that creates an opportunity to score each of those points. It’s nice to know he’ll be around for three more years.
